SASAH World
For those who are ready to be seen.
There is a forest.
Not far from the city, not far from everyday life – but just far enough to feel like another world. Light falls through the trees in long, quiet beams. Moss grows on stones that have been there for centuries. A fallen tree crosses a small stream, and if you walk across it slowly, you find yourself somewhere slightly different than where you began.
This is where SASAH starts.
Not in a design studio. Not in a boardroom. In a forest, in a life, in the quiet certainty that something needed to be created – and that it couldn’t wait any longer.
Five letters. A name that carries everything.
SASAH.
SA – the maker. The designer. The one who followed the world that wouldn’t leave her alone.
H – the one who has walked beside her for 27 years. The one who holds the compass when the path gets uncertain.
The woman behind the world
Saija has been making things for as long as she can remember. Designing in her mind long before pencil hit paper – imagining silhouettes, fabrics, details. By her teens, those visions had found their way into sketches. Later, into real garments. Understanding instinctively how fabric behaves – how velvet holds its shape, how cupro flows and catches light, how the right structure can make a person feel like the best version of themselves without trying.
She trained as a seamstress. But life moved quickly – as it does – and for 22 years she and her husband built their life as entrepreneurs together. Physical work. Reliable work. Work that provided – but work that belonged to necessity rather than meaning.
SASAH is something different.
It is the work they have been moving toward without knowing it. For Saija, it is the realisation of a creative life that has always been there – in the sketches, the fabric, the world that wouldn’t leave her alone. For her husband, it is a chance to build something together that carries more than income. It carries purpose.
SASAH didn’t arrive as a business idea. It arrived as something that simply wouldn’t leave her alone. A world that kept taking shape – in colour, in movement, in story – until the only option was to walk toward it and see where it led.
Like following a path into the forest. Like stepping into the rabbit hole, not knowing exactly what’s on the other side, but knowing with complete certainty that you need to go.
This is not a side project. This is the next chapter.
And they are writing it together.
Art that doesn’t end – it finds a new form
Saija’s father was an artist. His world was vivid, abundant, layered with feeling. He painted clowns – not always the cheerful kind, but the kind that carry something heavier beneath the surface. Cabaret. Life itself. The joy and the sorrow that live in the same moment. He painted seahorses too, and animals, and figures full of colour and movement. Everything he made was rich, expressive, unmistakably alive.
There is a seahorse he painted in 2001 – turquoise and midnight blue, gold scattered like stars around it, mysterious and quietly powerful – and when Saija looks at it now, she sees SASAH World already there, painted more than two decades before the brand had a name.
He is gone now. But his art lives on – in the prints, in the colours, in the visual DNA of every garment. The clown’s quiet complexity. The seahorse’s mysterious grace. The belief that beauty and sorrow and strength can exist together in the same work.
Alongside his paintings, Saija’s sister creates figures of women – strong, feminine, luminous. The family’s creativity didn’t end with one generation.
It just found a new form.
The world itself
SASAH World is not a fantasy. It is a parallel space that exists right next to ordinary life.
It begins at The Moss Bridge – a fallen tree crossing a quiet stream, moss on stone, light through branches, the sound of wind and birds and nothing else. In every SASAH film, every product story begins here. A figure walks across. The world shifts slightly. And what follows is something between fashion and cinema, between art and everyday life.
There is no single path through this world. There are detours and rabbit holes and unexpected clearings. Moments that take you somewhere you didn’t plan to go – and those are often the most important moments of all.
SASAH World is not a destination. It is a way of moving through life.
What SASAH makes.
Most fashion makes a choice. Runway or real life. Spectacular or wearable. Seen or lived in.
SASAH refuses that choice.
These are garments you could wear on a runway – and then walk the forest path home with your dog. The same velvet. The same silhouette. The same quiet power. Because real luxury isn’t what you save for special occasions. It’s what reminds you, every single day, that your life matters.
Every piece is built on two principles: structure and movement. Velvet that holds its shape. Cupro that flows. A silhouette that gives presence. A fabric that gives freedom. Together they create something that feels like armour – but moves like water.
The first collection is small and deliberate. A long velvet skirt with a signature lacing system – adjustable, architectural, deeply elegant. A structured velvet vest. A crop collar sweatshirt. Each piece designed not for one perfect body, but for real ones – with adjustability built into the structure so the garment finds your shape, not the other way around.
The prints are original. Designed by Saija herself, inspired by art, by nature, by the visual world she has been building her entire life. Gilded Night Lily – white and purple lilies, gold chains, leopard shadow – lives on cupro, moving with the body, catching light differently with every step.
And every garment will be shown inside out. Because the inside matters. The seams, the lining, the construction – these are not hidden. They are part of the story.
The ones who walk this path
Saija doesn’t walk it alone.
Her husband is the quiet force behind everything – the one who believed before there was anything to believe in, who holds the compass when the path gets uncertain, who is building this world alongside her. You might catch a glimpse of him in a film – two hands, a silhouette, a walk through the trees together. Just enough to know he is there.
And then there is Esperanza.
A rescued galgo – her name means hope in Spanish – who came into their lives and walks every path with them now. Through the forest, through the fields, into the world that SASAH is building. Where we go, Esperanza goes.
It is no coincidence that a dog named Hope is part of this story.
A world for everyone – including the ones with four legs
SASAH World extends to every member of the family.
Alongside the main collection, SASAH offers a premium line for dogs – designed with the same philosophy, the same materials, the same attention to fit and movement. Not matching in a costume sense, but in a considered one. The same Gilded Night Lily print. The same palette. A quiet visual harmony between the person and the dog walking beside them.
Because in SASAH World, dogs are not accessories. They are companions on the same path.
And one day – when SASAH has grown into what it is becoming – a portion of its proceeds will go toward galgo rescue. Not as a marketing gesture. As a commitment. Because every living thing deserves to be seen, valued, and given a chance to run free – and to rest, safely, in a place called home.

For the ones who are ready to stop hiding.
For the ones who are almost ready – and just need a little more light through the trees.
The path is already there.
The forest is waiting.

Be the star of your own life.
Shine bright – from the inside out.
